Back in the pre-Covid times, I used to attend about two networking meetings every week. They usually took place in local hotels and people would sit around tables talking about their businesses and taking notes with the ever-present branded plastic pens supplied by the hotel’s marketing department. If I open my desk drawer today, it is full of the things. Some of them still work. Most do not. But what can I do with them? While their useful life is over, the life of the plastic barrel certainly isn’t. Not for another thousand years!
So next time you are planning to invest in some branded pens of your own, have a look at bamboo pens. They look great, they work well and, most importantly, they tell the world that you care about your environment and are taking steps whenever you can to look after it. Let me give you a tip when it comes to branding your bamboo pens. Bamboo is a natural material. It has a variable texture and a variable background colour. You are not printing on a smooth white surface so, in my opinion, you need to keep it simple. Don’t try to go for a multi-colour logo. A single colour print of your web address or contact details is a much better choice. And it goes better with the rustic look of the pens. You can have a look at some bamboo pens by clicking ‘Shop Now’ in the left hand margin. Take note of the maximum print size for your branding when deciding which pen to choose. One will suit a single line of text while another may suit the shape of your (single colour) logo. So, when you are next attending a networking meeting, or when your client opens up the gift you have sent them, the unspoken message is that your company cares for your environment.
