About two years ago, I was approached by Engineers Without Borders Ireland to promote their “Where There Is No Engineer (WTINE)” design competition, a competition for engineering and design students to develop products and processes that can be used to improve the lives of people in the developing world.
This book was written to commemorate the centenary of the Easter Rising that occurred in Dublin in 1916. While the Rising took place throughout Ireland, this book concentrated on the events that happened in a small part of the north inner city – from Bolton Street Tech to the Four Courts.
Introduced by a lecturer in TU Dublin, one of our long standing clients, we were asked to design a brochure to illustrate what the organisation does, to encourage young engineers to join and to seek sponsorship from Irish Industry.
We were asked to design a fundraising brochure for the women’s section of Suttonians Rugby Club, known as Suttonians Tribe. A brochure that would encourage corporates in Dublin and North Leinster to use their Corporate Social Responsibility budgets to sponsor Suttonians Tribe who had just been promoted to Division One of the All-Ireland League.
